Let sit with heat off for about 10 minutes, until the gelatin starts to become soft. Heat saucepan to medium high heat, add remaining 1 cup of coconut milk and honey. Whisk together until ingredients are dissolved, about 4-7 minutes.. Remove pan from heat and whisk in vanilla extract. Let panna cotta sit for 10 minutes to cool down.
Mix it with heavy cream, stir in sugar, add spices. Cook on a low heat 3-5 minutes, then let it cool for about 10-15 minutes Remove the spices. When the orange juice is set, remove the glasses from the bowl and fill with milk and cream mixture. Leave the panna cotta in the fridge for an hour until set or overnight.

* The panna cotta using agar agar actually set in 2 hours only. I have never used gelatin so I can’t comment how long that will take. Recipes using gelatin suggest 4 hours or even overnight. * The cook time includes the time for cooking the panna cotta and the sauce. It does not include the time taken for the panna cotta to set.

Allow the gelatin to set the mixture at least 4 hours or better yet, overnight, to completely cool and become set. If you don’t allow the gelatin to completely set, you may end up with a dessert that’s half liquid, half solid. Allow the gelatin to set completely after dissolving.
